Training Contracts
Please read all agreements carefully before booking. Full payment is required before services begin. By booking with Training And Maintaining LLC, you agree to the terms outlined below.
General Agreement
This agreement is between Training And Maintaining LLC ("Trainer") and the dog owner/handler ("Client"). By scheduling and paying for services, the Client agrees to all terms outlined in this contract.
All services must be paid in full prior to the start of any training program. No services will begin until payment has been received and confirmed by the Trainer.
Booking & Payment Policy
All bookings are subject to Trainer confirmation. A booking request does not guarantee a spot until the Trainer has reviewed and confirmed availability.
Full payment is due upon confirmation of booking. Services — including evaluations, private lessons, and board & train programs — will not commence until payment is received in full.
Applicable community discounts (Veterans, Medical Field Workers, Seniors — 10% each, stackable) must be mentioned at the time of booking and may require verification.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund or credit toward a future session.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of a scheduled session may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the session cost.
Board & Train programs that are cancelled after the dog has been dropped off are non-refundable for days already completed.
No-shows without prior notice will be charged the full session fee.
Health & Vaccination Requirements
All dogs must be current on core vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella) prior to any in-person training session or board & train program. Proof of vaccination may be required.
Dogs showing signs of illness, injury, or contagious conditions will not be accepted for training until cleared by a licensed veterinarian.
The Client is responsible for disclosing any known health conditions, injuries, or behavioral history that may affect training.
Liability & Assumption of Risk
The Client acknowledges that working with dogs carries inherent risks, including but not limited to bites, scratches, and other injuries. The Client assumes full responsibility for their dog's behavior.
Training And Maintaining LLC and Lindsay Reeder shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, or loss arising from training sessions, including injury to the Client, third parties, or other animals.
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Training And Maintaining LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their dog's actions during or after training.
Board & Train Specific Terms
During a board & train program, the dog will reside with the Trainer in a home environment. The Trainer will provide food, shelter, exercise, and training as agreed upon.
The Client must provide their dog's regular food, any medications, and any comfort items at drop-off. The Trainer is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.
The Trainer reserves the right to seek emergency veterinary care for the dog if deemed necessary. All emergency veterinary costs are the sole responsibility of the Client.
Progress updates will be provided regularly. The Client agrees not to visit or contact the dog during the program unless arranged in advance, as this can disrupt the training process.
Training Methods & Philosophy
Training And Maintaining LLC uses a balanced training approach rooted in clear communication, consistency, and mutual respect between dog and handler.
The Trainer reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if the Client is uncooperative, abusive toward the dog, or fails to follow training guidance.
Results vary by dog, breed, age, history, and owner follow-through. The Trainer makes no guarantee of specific outcomes but commits to professional, dedicated effort on behalf of every dog.
Photo & Media Release
The Trainer may photograph or video the dog during training for educational, marketing, or social media purposes. If the Client does not consent to this, they must notify the Trainer in writing prior to the first session.
Agreement Acknowledgment
By booking and paying for services with Training And Maintaining LLC, the Client confirms they have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined in this contract.
This contract is effective upon receipt of payment and constitutes the full agreement between the Client and Training And Maintaining LLC.
